Spice labelling

The small, 1 to 4 mm long and 1 mm wide, yellow-green to yellow-brown, aromatic rough-haired split fruit similar to the caraway fruit is used. Each subcrop has about 5 narrow, lighter, protruding main ribs.

Taste

Sharp, burning, thyme-like taste that develops properly only when rubbed.
